My beautiful clients chose to get married in beautiful low-key wedding ceremony. The bride and groom have successful careers as physician and lawyer, and they took a super relaxed approach to their wedding, to really enjoy the relatively stress-free day with their family and close friends. The bride DIY'ed her own whisper blush colored lace and chiffon wedding dress with the help from her mom with the design! It is one of a kind and I think it looks really gorgeous on her with the illusion neckline and the front slit. The bride learned to do her own hair and makeup in her spare time, and she looked every bit stunning. She also DIYed her veil/ headpiece with blush roses and silver dollar eucalyptus, and it was fun and accentuated her half up half down hairdo perfectly. The bride and groom got ready together with their beloved dog that they adopted only a few months before the wedding. He was quite a stealer of the spotlight in his cute little bow-tie! We did some portraits where they got ready at Belmond El Encando in such perfect weather. Then they had to say bye to the dog for a little while when they headed off to the ceremony in the Mural room in the Santa Barbara Courthouse. They included some Persian traditional decorations and symbolic items at the aisle for the wedding. They continued the celebration at a sweet and intimate reception at Cadiz, where the newly weds welcomed a few speeches from their family, had a few cocktails, had some cake, and lots of dancing!
The bride was cold and her dad was warming her up right before the ceremony. So sweet!
